How to convert JPG to PDF
Add your photos
Drag your photos anywhere onto this page, or press Choose photos to pick them from your computer. On a phone, tap Pick photos. JPG (also called JPEG), PNG and WebP all work, and each photo becomes one page.
Put them in order
The PDF follows the list from top to bottom. Drag a photo by its handle, use the up and down arrows, or press Sort A to Z to order them by file name. Reverse flips the whole list.
Pick a page size
Fit makes each page the same shape as its photo, with no white border. Letter and A4 are paper sizes for printing; wide photos turn the page sideways on their own. Add a small margin if you want a white edge.
Make and download the PDF
Press Make PDF and your PDF downloads straight away as photos.pdf. Your photos stay exactly as they were.
Which page size to pick
Every photo gets its own page. The page size decides the shape of those pages and whether there's white space around the photo. With Letter or A4, a photo that's wider than it is tall turns its page sideways, so it fills as much of the paper as it can.
| Page size | Size | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Fit | The same shape as each photo | Sharing and reading on a screen. No white border unless you add a margin, and every page can be a different shape. |
| Letter | 8.5 × 11 in | Printing on Letter paper, or a form that asks for Letter size pages. |
| A4 | 210 × 297 mm | Printing on A4 paper, or a form that asks for A4 pages. |
Margin Small keeps at least half an inch of white around the photo. Margin None lets it reach the edges: on Fit pages all four, on Letter or A4 the two that match the photo's shape, with white space on the other two.
JPG to PDF without losing quality
Yes, you can convert JPG to PDF without losing any quality. Each JPG goes into the PDF exactly as it is, without being saved again, and keeps its colors. Every time a JPG is opened and saved again it loses a little detail, so this matters. Here's what we tested with our own photos:
| What we tested | What came out |
|---|---|
| JPG photos, from small up to 48 megapixels | The picture inside the PDF is the same as the photo, byte for byte |
| iPhone photos with extra-rich colors (Display P3) | The same colors as the photo, checked in two different PDF engines |
| PNG images and screenshots | Every pixel kept, and see-through parts stay see-through |
| Photos saved sideways, all 8 ways a phone can mark them | Every page the right way up |
| GPS location and camera details hidden in photos | Left out of the PDF, picture untouched |
| Five 12 megapixel photos, 4.81 MB together | One PDF of 4.80 MB |
A few rare kinds of JPG can't be shown by PDF readers as they are, so those, and WebP images, are saved once at high quality instead. PNG images with 16 bits per color, made by some scanners and photo editors, are stored at the usual 8 bits.
Why do photos come out sideways in a PDF?
A phone camera usually saves every photo the same way round and adds a hidden note that says which way is up. Your phone reads that note, so the photo looks right. A converter that skips the note puts the photo on the page sideways or upside down. We read the note and turn the photo to match, without saving it again. We tested all 8 settings the note can have, in two different PDF engines, and every page came out the right way up.
How big will the PDF be?
Because nothing is shrunk, the PDF is about the size of your photos added together. In our test, five 12 megapixel photos of 4.81 MB made a 4.80 MB PDF, and two PNG screenshots of 442 KB made a 412 KB PDF. If a website or an email limits the size, shrink the photos with the Image Compressor first, then add them here.

Frequently asked questions
Still stuck? Contact usHow do I convert a JPG to PDF
Add your photo, pick a page size and press Make PDF. The PDF downloads straight away. Add more photos first if you want them all in the same PDF.
How do I put multiple pictures into one PDF
Add all of them at once, or add more with Add more photos. Each photo becomes one page. Drag them into order, or press Sort A to Z to use their file names, then press Make PDF.
Does converting JPG to PDF lower the quality
No. A JPG goes into the PDF as it is, without being saved again. In our test the picture inside the PDF was the same as the photo, byte for byte, and its colors stayed the same. PNG images keep every pixel too.
Will my photos be the right way up
Yes. Phones often save a photo sideways with a hidden note that says which way is up. We read that note and turn the photo to match, so the page looks the way the photo looks on your phone. We tested all 8 settings that note can have.
Will the PDF be bigger than my photos
About the same as your photos added together, because nothing is shrunk or saved again. In our test, five 12 megapixel photos of 4.81 MB made a 4.80 MB PDF. To make it smaller, shrink the photos first with the Image Compressor.
Which page size should I pick
Fit for sharing and reading on a screen: each page is the shape of its photo, with no white border. Letter (8.5 × 11 in) or A4 (210 × 297 mm) when you'll print it or a form asks for that size. Wide photos turn the page sideways on their own.
Can I make a PDF with no white border
Yes. Pick Fit and Margin None. Each page is then exactly the size of its photo, edge to edge. With Letter or A4 there's white space wherever the photo's shape doesn't match the paper.
Can I convert PNG to PDF too
Yes. PNG images and screenshots keep every pixel, and see-through parts stay see-through instead of turning black. WebP images work too and are saved once as a high quality JPG inside the PDF.
Does it remove the location from my photos
Yes. Photos can hide the GPS location where they were taken, the camera model and the date. All of that is left out of the PDF, without touching the picture itself.
How many photos can I add
As many as you like, up to 500 MB in total on a computer and 200 MB on a phone or tablet. Every photo is held in your device's memory while the PDF is made.
Can I turn photos into a PDF on my iPhone
Yes. Open this page in Safari, tap Pick photos and choose them from your photo library. Put them in order and tap Make PDF to download it.
Is it free, with no watermark or sign up
Yes. Converting photos to PDF here is free. The PDF has no watermark, and there's no account, no daily limit and nothing to install.
Are my photos uploaded
No. Your files never leave your device. The PDF is made right in your browser, so nothing is uploaded, sent to us or stored anywhere.
