How to combine multiple photos into one PDF

Combine JPG, PNG or WebP photos into one PDF, one photo per page, in your order. Free, with no upload, JPG quality kept and location data removed.

Quick answer

Open the free JPG to PDF tool, add your photos, put them in order, choose a page size and tap Make PDF. Each photo becomes one page of a single PDF, JPG photos keep their exact quality, and nothing is uploaded.

Photos to one PDF, step by step

  1. Open JPG to PDF and tap Choose photos (on a phone, Pick photos). Add more photos adds to the list.
  2. Put them in order: drag the handle, use the arrows, or tap Sort A to Z or Reverse.
  3. Under Page, choose a Page size and a Margin.
  4. Tap Make PDF. Your file, photos.pdf, downloads straight away.

Which page size: Fit, Letter or A4

  • Fit makes each page the size of its photo. Best for sharing on a screen.
  • Letter (8.5 × 11 in) and A4 (210 × 297 mm) are for printing, or for forms that want a normal page. Pick whichever paper your printer or form uses.

A photo from a phone makes a very large page with Fit, which is fine on screen but awkward to print, so choose Letter or A4 if it is going on paper.

Margins and white borders

None, the default, puts each photo right to the edge, so Fit with None gives no white border at all. Small adds at least half an inch of white around each photo, which looks neater on paper.

Right way up, sharp and in true color

Phones save a hidden note saying which way up a photo was taken. JPG to PDF reads it and turns each photo to match, and wide photos turn Letter and A4 pages sideways.

JPG photos go in byte for byte, the same picture as the original, so nothing gets blurrier. PNGs keep every pixel and their see-through parts. WebP photos are saved once as a high quality JPG. The wider colors of iPhone photos are kept too.

Location and hidden details removed

GPS location, camera details and the date are left out of the PDF. Worth knowing if you are sending photos of your home or your documents to someone else.

How big the PDF will be

About the photos added together. In our test, five 12 megapixel photos of 4.81 MB made a 4.80 MB PDF. Need it smaller? Shrink the photos first with the Image Compressor, or see how to compress a photo to 100 KB.

iPhone HEIC photos

On an iPhone you can pick photos straight from your library. If a browser cannot open a HEIC photo, the tool tells you, and saving it as a JPG first fixes it. To have your iPhone take JPG photos from now on, go to Settings, Camera, Formats and choose Most Compatible.

It is always one photo per page. Got several PDFs instead? See how to combine PDF files into one.

Quick Questions

How do I combine multiple photos into one PDF on iPhone?

Open JPG to PDF in Safari, tap Pick photos, choose them from your library, put them in order and tap Make PDF.

Does converting JPG to PDF lower the quality?

No. The picture inside the PDF is the same as the photo, byte for byte.

Why are my photos sideways in the PDF?

Phones save a hidden note about which way up a photo was taken. JPG to PDF reads it and turns each photo to match, so they come out the right way up.

How do I make a photo PDF with no white border?

Pick Fit as the page size and None as the margin.

Can I put a PNG or a screenshot in the PDF?

Yes. Every pixel is kept, and see-through parts stay see-through.

Does it remove my photo's location?

Yes. GPS location, camera details and the date are left out of the PDF.
